Ode to the incandescent light bulb

I need bright light. I have radial keratotomy spoke wheel scars on both of my corneas. Darkness causes my pupils to dilate, then the light crosses the scars and my vision is greatly decreased. I bet I can't buy a 100-watt light bulb after January 1 even with a doctor's note. Thanks, congress. Thanks G.W. Bush.
