My dad is ill
I have been down lately. I might as well tell you. My beloved father has one good lung left, the other gone to cancer. This man has weathered many storms in his life with courage and stoicism. He has been a rock and is much loved in our family.I wrote about him in 2007 in a post titled Perseverance and Optimism.Prayers for his health and comfort are most welcome. The muslim students planned and executed an unrelenting heckling of Ambassador Oren of Israel at UC Irvine last year. His speech was prevented completely by the action of the students.
