Gender Apartheid in Iran-Women with no rights

This short video is a good review of what many of us know, and what many people still are not aware of. It underscores the incompatibility of the islamist system with the western way of life.

Bachmann announces candidacy, fighting off Chris Wallace

I saw Chris Wallace's interview of Michelle Bachmann yesterday on Fox News Sunday and I was livid. He ripped her on every issue he could sink his teeth into. Culminating in an attack where he quoted her worst enemies in Washington, claiming that some call her a "flake". She handled his blistering interview with aplomb, and he later apologized for the Flake question.

But I saw the whole hour. I saw him interview the next politician with a much softer tone. And a comment he made toward the end of the program put it all into perspective for me. Wallace spoke about the Jon Stewart interview the prior week. He defended himself against Stewart's accusations of Fox's being one-sided coverage, and Wallace told Stewart at one point that he is proud that Fox tells the "other side of the story". Wallace admits he wished he said that Fox tells both sides of the story. Then he went on to comment that as you can see "today", he is hard on both Republicans and Democrats.

Huh. So that's it. He savaged Michelle Bachmann in order to restore his own tarnished image? Didn't help with me. I normally enjoy watching Chris Wallace, but his interview of Bachmann yesterday was more of a public beating.

Bachmann, to her credit, is a scrapper and her eyes were still twinkling at the end of the interview. Whatta lady!

I once liked Michael Jackson

Is this the anniversary of his death? #kingofpop is trending on Twitter.

When I was a very small child, I remember the Jackson Five show playing on Saturday morning television. My brothers and I tended to gravitate to cartoons, but I was aware of the Jacksons. I had all but forgotten about them over the years, but rediscovered some Motown Oldies when I was in college in the 80s. I particularly liked the romantic songs.

I remember owning a cassette tape of the Thriller album and playing it repeatedly as I jogged the streets around UCLA.

Over time I became aware that Jackson had had "some work done", but he looked good on the Thriller cover, and it seemed like everybody in Hollywood did that sort of thing. Nothing to be alarmed about....

If only the story stopped there. I remember wondering in the 80s why I never read news stories about him being connected to different ladies. He should have been photographed arriving and leaving from restaurants with countless beautiful women on his arm at the height of his popularity. He wasn't. I know there were "relationships" here and there, but nothing that seemed real.

Then the stories about child-adult relationships emerged and I began to get a creepy feeling. His songs smacked less and less of heterosexual romance as the years went on. In fact, none of the songs he sung as an adult were anywhere near as romantic as the ones he sung as a child.  "Billy Jean is not my lover..."?  Ya.  I bet she's not.

You know the rest of the story. Too many plastic surgery operations. Child molestation accusations. Insomnia. Drug dependence.

All leading to the night of his death, when he apparently ordered the so-called doctor he had on staff to put him out of his misery for a few hours. La Toya Jackson believes Michael was murdered. Maybe. But not first degree. It could even fall under manslaughter, don't you think?

Archie Bunker on Obama and liberal progressives....

I love the part where Bunker has the solution to hijackings. He could have prevented 9/11 but people just laughed.

Progressive Insurance Lady - Rule Zero

via thishotfire dot come
I really can't stand her, or the name "Progressive" Insurance. Ick. Worst ad combination in history, considering that a majority of Americans are conservative (40% in 2009), and those who self-identify as progressive (20% in 2009) are a very small number.

The actress, herself, is unlike her TV ad character, according to People Magazine. I'm sure that is a relief for her loved ones and friends.

She told People that she was surprised her friends started dressing up as her character on Halloween. I hate to break it to her. They are not doing it to be sexy. That is definitely a SCARY costume!

Please help Israel this week!

Reblogging in full a post from The Conservative Lady. I happen to think that our best bet is to spread the word about this atrocity-in-the-making before it happens again. Let's make sure the forces arrayed against Israel do not contain Americans or American companies. Please help by spreading the word about the new "flotilla" on Twitter, Facebook and on the blogs.
There are some interesting things I just came across regarding the Gaza Flotilla that was supposed to sail in May 2011 but is nowrescheduled to June.  Looks like Israel has some tricks up it's sleeve to stop it:

Shurat HaDin (SH), the Israeli Legal Center, is implementing several strategies to stop the international flotilla against Israel. One is a civil lawsuit against 14 ships set to participate in this flotilla.  A second action is Shurat HaDin's legal warning to Inmarsat that under U.S. law they will be open to charges of aiding and abetting terrorism if they provide services to these Gaza-bound ships. A third action by SH is their letter to maritime insurance companies informing them that by insuring sea vessels used by terrorists their company will be liable for any future attacks carried out by those terrorists. Read the sections below for the details of SH's actions.

Visit the link below to see an interview with attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner who talks about legal actions being taken to stop the Gaza Flotilla and how the public can help out.

Here are ways you can help:

Civil Lawsuit Filed Today Against
Gaza Flotilla Ships by Terror Victim
The Audacity of Hope is one of the ships that could be seized
A civil lawsuit has been filed against 14 ships, including at least one American-registered vessel named The Audacity of Hope, that are set to participate in a reprise international flotilla against Israel.  Dr. Alan Bauer, a Harvard-educated biologist and terror victim injured in a 2002 Jerusalem bombing, is the plaintiff in this suit that was filed in Federal Court in New York City.  Read more...

Here is a sample letter, fax or email they are asking all of us to send to AG Eric Holder:

Dear Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr.:

I am outraged that extremist groups have raised funds in the United
States to furnish equipment to outfit the Gaza flotilla boats that are
intended to breach the Israeli coastal blockade of the Hamas-
controlled Gaza strip. This is a blatant crime committed against one
of America's closest allies in support of a designated terrorist
organization. I respectfully request that the Department of Justice
immediately investigate and prosecute the perpetrators of this
offense.

Mail address:  Hon. Eric H. Holder, Jr., United States Attorney General, U.S. Department of Justice, 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20530-0001
Fax number:  (202) 307-6777
Email address:  AskDOJ@usdoj.gov

My biggest question is...will Attorney General Eric Holder do anything to help stop the Gaza Flotilla?

Why use tax dollars for Al Jazeera English on PBS?

Michele Bachmann is one of the bravest patriots in public office

I will never forget 2009. It was a miserable time to be a conservative. Dems held control over both houses of congress and Obama was sprinting into socialism as fast as possible. Their only opponents were outspoken Americans who quickly formed the Tea Party. And a handful of public officials. OK, less than a handful. In fact, in 2009, almost NO Republicans would speak out against the Democrats and their agenda. Only Dick Cheney, no longer in office, and Michele Bachmann. I remember how grateful I felt that she was brave enough to stand in front of TV cameras and state her opposition to Obama's socialist healthcare policies out in the open. Her payback came when Pelosi committed the Democrat machine's power to unseat her from congress in 2010. Didn't work, thank God. Bachmann remains in her congressional seat in Minnesota. And now she announces a run for president? I support her. And one of my favorite bloggers, the Right Wing Peace-Loving Pussycat, feels the same way I do. Yay!
I will vote for Michele Bachmann in a second. I wish I could vote for her 100 million times.

Michelle is the only one who has even suggested rolling back the liberal agenda. She wants to start by dissolving the Federal Dept of Education - An Abject Failure, just like all liberal departments and programs.

Folks if we don't roll back liberalism, which we haven't done Ever, the Dems WILL get in again in 4,8 or 12 years and just pick up where they left off. And that's assuming this large weak dependent percentage of population we have doesn't put Obama back in office. Not even Ronald Reagan (OK, Dem congress, but still) did not roll back a single abject failure liberal program or department.

In my opinion, this is our last chance.

I would LOVE to see Michele pick Allen West (or a couple others I could name) to be her Vice President.

Can you imagine Dumb and Dumber being replaced by an Ultra-American like Michele Bachmann and someone else with probably the best bead on reality that I've seen in a while - Allen West ? Wow.

Ok, I said I'm not going to blabber on about the election of 2012, but Michele Bachman entering the race is an obvious exception.

Will Hillary rise as Obama admin goes down?

Is Eric Holder going to jail for Project Gunrunner obstruction of justice?

Are Washington Dems and Repubs aligning against Obama and his minions?

Will Hillary primary Obama?

Is the Wiener scandal distracting us from the bad economy and Obama's failed policies, including the active Obamacare trial in which 3 bipartisan judges are sounding quite skeptical of Obamacare?

Will the U.S. of A. remain a constitutional republic?

Inquiring minds want to know....

Dem Rep Anthony Weiner admits tweeting raunchy pic to college girl

Dem Rep. Anthony Weiner tearfully admits in a press conference that he accepts responsibility for making "mistakes" and that he will not resign. He thought he was sending a direct message to the girl, and it got tweeted out on his open account by mistake.

This has happened to me in the past. Not bad pictures, but I have accidentally sent a twitter message that was meant as a DM. Often it happens when you are posting from the cell phone and forget to type D at the front of the message and just reply instead.

On Twitter this has exploded under the term #weinergate.

The crotch picture can be viewed here. And more pictures have been released of him shirtless and worse, reported by Andrew Breitbart.

Breitbart has been the main journalist exposing Weiner's lies and coverup.

Unemployment worse now than Great Depression, via @CBSNews

via elephantjournal
(CBS News) There is an unfortunate adage for the unemployed: The longer folks are out of a job, the longer it takes them to find a new one.
CBS News correspondent Ben Tracy reports that the chronically unemployed face the hardest road back to recovery, and that while the jobs picture may be improving statistically on a national level, it is not for them.

Tinong Nwachan, for example, has far too much time on his hands. When CBS News met the former truck driver he had been out of work for two years.

"I don't really tell too many people this but I'm not ashamed or nothing, I'm homeless," Nwachan said.

Summer job bummer: Teen unemployment 24 percent, nearly 14 million Americans are looking for work....

About 6.2 million Americans, 45.1 percent of all unemployed workers in this country, have been jobless for more than six months - a higher percentage than during the Great Depression.
I'm surprised the lamestream media is finally reporting about our economic Depression. Oh, well. Better late than never.

Octomom Doctor's Medical License Revoked

It's about time. The babies were born in 2009. At the time, Ms. Suleman lied and said that she had been implanted with 6 and some of the 8 babies were twins. Wrong. She had been implanted with TWELVE. And there were other patients who received substandard care from this doctor. Why does it take 2 years in order to protect the public from Michael Kamrava?
